Dr. R. Naveena Bhargavi is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Osmania University, with M.Tech in Electrical Power Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from KLCE, Vijayawada.

With over 24 years of academic experience, her current research focus lies at the intersection of power systems and artificial intelligence, including intelligent energy systems, AI-driven optimization, and data-enabled approaches for power quality and grid resilience. Her work aligns with emerging trends in neural networks and intelligent computational techniques applied to real-world energy challenges.

Dr. Bhargavi has published extensively in international journals and IEEE conferences and actively contributes to the research community as a reviewer for SCOPUS journals like ELEN Journal, WEEF GEDC, IET Renewable Power Generation (Wiley), American Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems and many IEEE International Conferences. She also serves on editorial boards of international journals.

She is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Life Member of ISTE, Member of IAENG and a Member of the International Neural Networks Society (INNS). She is actively engaged in IEEE activities, including mentoring students in international events like YESIST12, IEEE Returning Mothers Conference and organizing technical events.

In addition to her research contributions, she has successfully coordinated funded faculty development programs supported by AICTE and ATAL and has played key roles in organizing international conferences and fostering interdisciplinary innovation. She is also committed to STEM outreach and student mentoring initiatives.
