The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) 2027 solicits proposals for tutorials, within the technical scope of IJCNN 2027. Tutorials aim to provide focused discussions on innovative and emerging topics in neural networks and related fields.

TUTORIAL RULES

Tutorial may have a duration of 2 hours, or 4 hours.

All tutorials will take place on Day 1 of the Conference (Monday, June 14, 2027).

Tutorials must be presented in person.

Conference attendees with full registration can attend tutorials free of charge but must select the tutorial(s) they plan to attend (one per concurrent session) on the registration form. Attendees may also register for the Tutorial Day only and must likewise select their tutorials (non-current) on the registration form.

Organizers of tutorials attracting 10+ and 20+ Tutorial Day registrations will receive a 50% full conference registration fee waiver for one organizer and two organizers, respectively.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Prospective Tutorial proposers are expected to submit a document, including the following information:

  • Title of the Tutorial

  • Duration

  • List of presenter(s) (including names, affiliations, contact information, short biography, personal websites or Google Scholar profiles)

  • Previous tutorials given by the presenters

  • Significance of the topic, timeliness, novelty, relevance to the IJCNN community, any previous editions of this tutorial

  • Outline and description of the tutorial

  • References: A list of key publications or resources related to the tutorial.

All proposals will be evaluated according to their relevance for IJCNN 2027, novelty, impact on the community, and expertise of the presenters.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Proposals will be reviewed by the Tutorial Chairs and members of the Program Committee based on:

  • Relevance to the IJCNN community.

  • Timeliness and novelty of the topic.

  • Expertise and teaching experience of the presenters.

  • Balance and diversity of the overall tutorial program.
