A*STARs Centre for Frontier AI Research (CFAR)
Joey Tianyi Zhou is a Principal Scientist and Deputy Director at A*STAR’s Centre for Frontier AI Research (CFAR). Previously, he was a Senior Research Engineer at the Sony US Research Center in San Jose. Dr. Zhou received his PhD in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University. His research focuses on efficient and robust machine learning. He has published over 100 papers and received multiple international awards. He is serving as an Associate Editor and Editorial Board for AIJ, IJCV, IEEE TETCI , and Area Chairs in top machine learning conferences like ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, and Associate Program Chair IJCAI 2015,etc.
